What "DUPR-sanctioned" actually means

DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the sport's most widely used rating system. A DUPR-sanctioned tournament is one whose match results are submitted to DUPR, so each player's rating updates from the games they played at your event. Players increasingly seek out sanctioned events because the results actually move their number — and because seeding by DUPR produces fairer, more competitive brackets than self-reported skill levels.

The steps
