Single elimination is the classic knockout format: lose once and you're out, win and you advance, until one champion remains. This tool seeds your entrants using the standard bracket order so the top seeds are spread across opposite halves and can only meet in the final.
Brackets run on 8, 16, 32… slots. If your count is in between, the field is padded to the next power of two and the top seeds receive first-round byes, advancing straight to round two. That's the standard, fairest way to handle byes — and this generator does it for you.
