Americano is the go-to social mixer: your partner changes every round, and instead of a bracket you keep a running total of your own points. Every game is played to a fixed number (16, 21 and 32 are common), and whoever has the most points across all rounds wins. It's inclusive, fast-moving, and perfect for club nights and round-robin socials.
This generator uses a balanced 1-factorization rotation: each round pairs players into fresh partnerships, and across a full set of rounds everyone partners with everyone exactly once. Teams are then spread across your courts; if there aren't enough courts for every team at once, one team rests that round (a rotated bye).
In a round robin, fixed teams play every other team. In Americano, there are no fixed teams — partners rotate and scoring is individual. Both are great; Americano is more social, round robin is more competitive.
