Everything a tournament needs (and nothing it doesn’t)

No more spreadsheets, group chats, and a paper bracket taped to the wall.

📸

Already have it on paper?

Snap the sign-up sheet — several pages if it runs long — or upload the spreadsheet or Google Form export, and PlanMyPickle drafts the whole tournament: name, date, venue, divisions with their start times and rating bands, every player, every partner, every phone. You check the draft row by row, fix anything that’s off, and tap Create. Nothing is saved until you do.

How to use it: Organize → Add → Already have it on paper? Take a photo of each page (or pick them from your gallery), or upload a .csv / .xlsx, then Read. Review the draft — the reader tells you what it wasn’t sure about — and Create tournament. Anything the sheet didn’t say, like the date or the venue, is flagged and you fill it in right there.

🏆

Brackets, sorted

Pick round-robin, single-elimination, or pools→playoff and PlanMyPickle builds every match across every court — no double-booked players.

Official DUPR

DUPR is now the official rating system of USA Pickleball — run sanctioned, rated play and push finished results straight to it. Or keep it casual. Your call, per tournament.

🎚️

Skill brackets

Spin up 3.0–3.5, 3.5–4.0, and more. Each division is scheduled and ranked on its own, all in one event.

📲

QR check-in

Players scan a code to check in on game day. The front-desk clipboard officially retires.

📊

Live dashboard

The bracket and standings update the second a score is entered — players and spectators just watch it climb to the FINALS.

📣

Court calls, called by a crew

One tap texts each player their court — and the venue TV says it out loud, in the voice of one of seven AI announcers. Big Dill runs the mic; Barb reads the rules. Meet the crew ↓

💳

Registration & pay

Collect entry fees online and put players in the right bracket in seconds — instead of chasing Venmo payments all week.

🔒

Coordinator scoring

A secured admin page lets organizers enter win/loss from their phone, and the live dashboard updates instantly.

🤾

Team events (MLP)

Run Major-League-style team play — Women’s, Men’s and two Mixed lines with a DreamBreaker tiebreaker, team standings, and a team playoff that crowns a champion.

AI poster studio

Design a poster for your event in seconds — pick a style or just describe the look you want. Pulls in your event’s title, date and venue, drops in your club logo and sponsor logos, then attach it to the event or download it to post anywhere.

How to use it: open Tools → AI Poster Studio, tap Design from one of my events (or type a title), pick a style — or describe it in your own words — add a QR code if you like, and hit Generate. Then Set as the poster for that event, Attach to an event, or Download. If a render doesn’t come out, you’re not charged.

📺

Live TV scoreboard

Cast a full-screen board to the venue TV — leaderboard, live courts, up-next, and the champion podium. Brand it with your colors, font, and sponsor logo.

From sign-ups to the FINALS in six steps

They join the right bracket and pay online while you watch the roster fill.

  3. 3

  4. 4

    Auto-build the schedule

One tap generates every match across every court.

  5. 5

    Score it live

Coordinators tap in results; the bracket and standings update in real time.

    Send to DUPR

Sanctioned event? Push the finished matches to DUPR and call it a day. 🏆

…and this is what step six looks like

Summer Slam Send-Off · Life Time, San Diego · Aug 29, 2026 — five divisions, one afternoon, every podium run on PlanMyPickle.

Meet the crew — your AI court callers

Every tournament gets a voice on the venue TV: the mic check, the rules, every “You’re up — Court 3,” and the podium. Seven announcers, one per division if you like — tap the speaker on a card to hear them. Pick them in Tools → TV board → Voice.

Big Dill, the house announcer — a pickle in a headband with a paddle
House announcer🇺🇸 Chula Vista, California

Big Dill

Hatched in a brine barrel behind a Chula Vista rec center and raised on a diet of crowd noise. Has never once been nervous on a microphone, mostly because he has never once been quiet enough to notice. Runs the mic check, hypes the room, and closes every tournament with the same three words.

“Mic check, one, two… is this thing on?”

Sign-off: “Big Dill out.”

Barb — visor, headset, reading glasses on a chain, arms crossed
Rules & regulations🇺🇸 Ohio, by way of every gym in America

Barb

Thirty-one years of middle-school P.E. and not one lost whistle. Reads your tournament’s rules like a woman who has filed reports before, and she has. Sighs in three languages. Never uses two words where one will do.

Here is what the players don’t know: at 6 a.m., alone in the parking lot, she does the full Macarena. There is a joke book under the visor. Her laugh sounds like a car that won’t start, and once it starts it does not stop. She has cried at every single podium and blamed the sunscreen every single time.

“Listen up, because I am only saying this once.”

Send-off: “Go on. Show them what you’ve got.”

Brody — sunglasses on his head, open Hawaiian shirt, board shorts, headset
Vibes🇺🇸 Pacific Beach, California

Brody

Former surf instructor. Current surf instructor, technically — he just also does this. The only person alive who can talk a room back down after Barb, which is the whole reason he was hired. Has never known what time it is and has never been late.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Barb. Easy. Everybody… breathe. It’s pickleball.”

Send-off: “Send it!”

Tita Joy — warm smile, gold hoops, handbag on her arm, headset
Auntie of the whole event🇵🇭 Philippines

Tita Joy

Straight from Manila, and the Manila traffic came with her: arrives forty minutes late (the traffic, anak) with lumpia for everybody, including the other team. Will ask if you’ve eaten before she says your court. Watching you the whole match. Not in a scary way. Okay, a little.

“Then we eat OFF the court. Barb, you look hungry. Come.”

Send-off: “Ay, and drink your water!”

Tito Boy — Warriors shirt, gold chain, thumbs up, headset
Hype, and karaoke🇵🇭 Philippines

Tito Boy

Born in Cebu, raised on karaoke and basketball. Owns one shirt and it is a Golden State Warriors shirt. First question on arrival: where is the karaoke machine. Second question: why is there no karaoke machine. Gives a thumbs up to every call, every player, every dog in the parking lot.

“Where’s the karaoke machine? … No karaoke? Okay, okay.”

Send-off: “Sige, sige — let’s go!”

Tía Carmen — embroidered blouse, gold hoops and bangles, headset
The Spanish-language mic🇲🇽 Mexico

Tía Carmen

From Guadalajara, Jalisco, and she will tell you so before the mic check. Calls every player mi vida whether she knows them or not. Explains the rules again in Spanish, warmer and somehow faster. Does not settle a room — she cheers it off the bench. Bangles audible from Court 1 to Court 8.

“Cuando escuchen su nombre, vayan a su cancha, mijos.”

Send-off: “¡Ándale, mija! ¡A jugar!”

Tío Julio — mustache, green jersey, gold chain, thumbs up, headset
Co-host, en español🇲🇽 Mexico

Tío Julio

Tijuana born, Chula Vista every weekend. Loudest laugh in the building and it’s not close. Wears the jersey to every event, including the ones where nobody is playing fútbol, which is all of them. Reads the rules rapidito and means it. Tía Carmen’s co-host; Barb’s nemesis; everybody’s tío.

“¡Buenas, buenas! Rapidito, en español…”

Send-off: “¡Ándale! ¡A jugar!”

The whole crew does the opening remarks once, at the start of the day — Big Dill’s mic check, Barb’s rules (your rules: your courts, your points, your win-by), Brody talking everyone back down, the tías and tíos arriving late, and the three words. Then they call every court, and the winners, until the last podium.

Questions, de-pickled

Is it really DUPR-sanctioned?

Yes. DUPR is now the official rating system of USA Pickleball, and PlanMyPickle is a DUPR partner — run DUPR-sanctioned events and submit completed results so ratings stay current. Or keep it casual. Your call, per tournament.

I already have my sign-ups on a clipboard / in a spreadsheet. Do I have to retype them?

No. Take a photo of each page (or upload the .csv, .xlsx or Google Form export) and the app drafts the tournament for you — divisions, start times, rating bands, players and partners. You review the draft, fix anything the reader wasn’t sure about, and tap Create. Handwriting varies, so the review is the point: every row is yours to check before anything is saved. Included on every plan.

Can I run multiple skill brackets at once?

Yep. Create brackets like 3.0–3.5 and 3.5–4.0 — each is scheduled and ranked independently within the same event.

What formats are supported?

Round-robin, single-elimination, and round-robin pools that feed a single-elimination playoff bracket.

How do players check in?

They scan a QR code on game day. No clipboard, no line.

What’s it cost?

Running a tournament is free — every format, scheduling, registration, live scoring, and DUPR-sanctioned rated play. Premium ($15/mo or a $29 per-event pass) removes our branding, adds a broadcast overlay and SMS court calls, puts the crew — seven AI announcers — on your venue TV, and unlocks advanced draws + scoreboard styling. Club is $59/mo and covers a whole club rather than one organizer: everything in Premium on every event your club runs — including events your co-owners create — plus coach seats, the league season archive and 5 AI posters a month. Running a club stays free: the all-time leaderboard, standings and history, roster, schedule, attendance, announcements, dues, co-owners and your public club page cost nothing on any plan. And everything your club built during early access stays free, forever, whether you upgrade or not. See the pricing section.

Do you support team (MLP) events?

Yes — Major-League-style team play with Women’s, Men’s and two Mixed lines, a DreamBreaker singles tiebreaker at 2–2, team standings, and a team playoff that crowns a champion on the live board.

Is there a live scoreboard for a venue TV?

Yes. A full-screen, read-only board shows the leaderboard, the match on each court, what’s up next, and the champion — and it refreshes on its own. Premium lets you brand it with your colors, font, and a sponsor watermark.

Can I collect entry fees online?

Yes — set a registration fee and players pay as they sign up. Our fee is capped at the lesser of 5% or $5 per registration.

Can I make a poster for my event?

Yes — the AI poster studio designs one in seconds. Pick a style or describe the look you want, and it uses your event’s title, date and venue, plus your club logo and any sponsor logos you upload. Attach it to the event so it shows on the public page, or download it to post anywhere. Generations are $2.99 for 5; the Club plan includes 5 every month. Posters are kept for 30 days unless you attach one to an event.

We already use CourtReserve for bookings — do we have to switch?

No. Keep your booking or reservation system for court time and open play — PlanMyPickle runs the event layer: tournaments, leagues, brackets, live scoring, and DUPR submission. Clubs run both side by side.
